You are bidding on a Deidrich Coffee Roaster Model IR-24, Serial # 12206, DOM 1997, Drum Style Roaster and Afterburner as well as a separate Mixer all selling as one lot.
The roaster is being used in Columbus Ohio along with the Mixer, The afterburner is in storage.
The Roaster was previously in use in the Scottie MacBean Restaurant in Beachwold, Columbus, Ohio.
These items, being offered as ONE LOT together are being sold to settle the estate of R. Thatcher Ely Jr and
Your final bid price is subject to the approval of the Administrator of the Estate and the Franklin County Probate court.
The roaster can be viewed in Columbus by appointment with the auctioneer.
Shipping is available at buyer’s expense plus a nominal crating charge.
The items are selling “as is” with no warranties. The roaster is being used for current production and you should feel confident of the functionality. The afterburner is in storage but was in use a the restaurant site.

Auction Terms & Conditions Terms of the auction are: A 15% buyer’s premium will be added to the bid price to make your final purchase total. The Highest bid price will be submitted to the probate court for approval. An earnest money deposit will be required from the highest bidder in the Amount of 1,000 which will be REFUNDED IN FULL to the high bidder, by the auctioneer, if the probate court does not accept the high bid.
The 1,000 earnest money deposit will be charged to the buyer’s credit card at the time the auction closes.
Please expect a possible few weeks response time from the probate court.
Upon acceptance of your bid price by the probate court, the balance will be due within 7 days by credit card, or official bank check or wire transfer.
The coffee roaster has an Appraisal at the probate court for $18,616 and the probate court has will authorize a sale of 80% of that amount, being $14,893. However THIS AUCTION OFFERING is designed to discover the Market price and facilitate a sale. A low starting bid of 5,250 has been selected. The final bid price will be submitted to the probate court and the auctioneer will share the auction details of the auction process with the probate court so the high bid can be considered as fair market price and a sale hopefully consummated.
